Many events in India are sold on famous celebrities’ name. Right from Shah Rukh Khan to Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone to Alia Bhatt celebs are called to attend different functions across the country. But in situations like these, celebs have to stay alert too of fraud and fake news of them being present at an event. Just like Salman Khan.

In a recent case, the superstar’s name and his foundation Being Human’s name was misused to take money from the people. If latest reports are to be believed, money has been taken from Salman’s fan in the name of him attending an event in Bijnor city in Uttar Pradesh.

Now, taking to social media, Salman Khan shared the picture of the fake advertisement that featured in a newspaper. In his tweet the superstar denied being a part of the event in ‘any way’. In his tweet he wrote, “Neither Being Human Foundation nor me are associated with this event in any way...”


Soon after his tweet, Salman’s fans even thanked the star for clearing the air. A netizen wrote, “Thanks Bhai for confirming this ! Many's are Doing Frauds in the Name of you ! Note- If Salman or Being Human Foundation associates any event then Salman sir Tweets about that earlier!.” While another wrote, “thank you sir for replying & giving clarification about this issue, I almost aware about the organiser it must definitely be fake.”



Meanwhile, Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat, which also stars Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover, Tabu, Jackie Shroff in the lead roles. Produced by Atul Agnihotri and Bhushan Kumar, Bharat is slated to release on June 5, which marks the festival, Eid.
